01How it works
What happens next with my request?
Your details are read for the ZIP code, the project and the size, and someone from our team will call you back at the number you left. The call is short: confirm the scope, ask about access and slope, and decide whether the job needs a visit or can be priced from photos.
Nothing else is needed from you in the meantime.
Before the call, know this. Mesa's Residential Grass-to-Xeriscape and Tree Bonus incentive (opens in a new tab) requires the application and a pre-inspection before any grass comes out. If removal is part of your project, do not cut the lawn while you wait. That single rule decides whether the incentive survives.

What should I have ready for the callback?
Have the address and ZIP code, a rough size of the yard, and a phone you will actually answer. Photos from 2 corners of the yard save a lot of back and forth, and a photo of the irrigation controller answers the first question about what the system can do.
Think about what you want to keep: a tree, a patch of grass for a dog, the existing patio. Think about how you want to use the yard: sitting, dining, a play area, or nothing but low upkeep.
If you are in an HOA, have the design guidelines within reach.

Can I call instead of waiting?
Yes. Call (747) 243-2089 to talk the project through by phone, without waiting on a form. Have the ZIP code ready, since the first question is which city rules apply.
The phone is faster for a small job, like a broken head or a valve that will not shut off. Sprinkler repair averages $278, with most work between $137 and $422, per a national cost guide, 2026, so a small job is worth a call rather than a form.
For a full yard, the form is better, because photos and measurements help. Either way the conversation ends with a clear next step: a visit or a written scope with a price. These are published national ranges, not a quote. The final price comes after someone sees the yard.

Questions people ask
Still have a question? Call (747) 243-2089 and describe the yard.
01I sent the form twice by mistake. Does that matter?
No. A duplicate request does no harm. If the second message added a detail, mention it on the call so the scope reflects the newer version.
02Can I add photos after I send the form?
Yes. Send them to the same place you sent the request, or have them ready for the call. Photos of the access gate and the controller are the 2 that answer the most questions. A short video walking the yard works as well.
03What if I need to change the project?
Say so on the call, before anything is ordered. Changing a plant list is easy. Changing grading, a wall line or the turf area after material is delivered costs money, because material gets returned or wasted. Earlier usually costs less.
04Where can I read about Mesa water rules while I wait?
Mesa publishes its water conservation guidance and programs (opens in a new tab) through its Environmental and Sustainability Department, and the pages cover a landscape watering guide, the grass to xeriscape incentive and programs for HOAs. It is worth 10 minutes before the call, since the rules set the order of work.
